The ID S seal is used for wellheads, downhole tools and surface pressure control equipment as a critical part.

Its sealing materials need to withstand pressures as high as 15 000 psi and temperatures of 210º, depending on housing design and material choice.

From design through to production, JST S-seals are made to perform in the toughest situations, especially for high pressure and H2S chemicals. It is designed to withstand higher pressures and temperatures while meeting more stringent regulatory requirements. The pressure between casing layers may exceed 10000 psi, which means that the seal must be manufactured and tested to very high standards. Tubing and casing diameters can also vary widely, and the wellhead seal must be able to compensate for these changes.

Our ID S seal is available in material NBR, HNBR, FKM with 2 integral anti-extrusion springs. The integrated spiral spring in the S seal ensures high pressure resilience, excellent resistance to rolling and bunching, and simple fitting.
