ESY Series Fugitive Emission Ball Valve Stem Seal

JST ESY series design is commonly used as dynamic seal for ball valve stem, and the ESY with various V rings and T shape support rings could be used for fugitive emission valves, meeting the requirements of ISO-15848. The seal materials are good at air sealing, compatible with oil, gas or other chemicals with acid, alkali or H2S.

This ESY design consists of U shape jacket, spring, v ring, C shape anti-extrusion ring and T shape support ring. The T shape support ring is able to protect the U shape jacket avoiding damage to the lip.

Technical requirements:

  1. Working pressure: ≤10,000PSI
  2. Working temperature: -100℃~+260℃

Materials:

  1. U shape jacket: modified PTFE (PE001), resistant to high temperature & high pressure, good wear resistance and low creep;
  2. V ring: modified PTFE (PE001), resistant to high temperature & high pressure, good wear resistance and low creep;
  3. V ring: Virgin PTFE (P1020), very low friction coefficient, strong air sealing and ultra-low temperature resistance;
  4. T shape ring: PEEK (PK002), high strength, corrosion resistance and wide application temperature range;
  5. C shape ring: PEEK (PK002), high strength, corrosion resistance and wide application temperature range;
  6. Spring: golden color alloy spring, corrosion resistance, resistant to high & low temperature.

Characteristics:

  1. Resistant to high temperature & high pressure;
  2. Compatible with chemicals of acid, alkali or H2S;
  3. Low friction and low gas leakage rate.
